The University of Vermont released a summary on Tuesday of the four major development projects taking place. Improvements, which began in the spring of this year, are projected to continue through the summer of 2019.
Currently underway is the demolition of three residence halls in order to allow space for the remaining three improvement projects. This summer will see the start of the three phase, four year STEM Complex development. Beginning in the fall, the university plans to construct new on-campus first year housing and dining facilities. Finally, existing UVM Medical Center inpatient beds will be renovated and replaced from this summer through the summer of 2018.
