University Dormitory Receives Burlington Approval

The Development Review Board in Burlington approved plans for a new 699-bed student housing facility this past week.  The project will consist of two new buildings at 195,000 total square feet, costing UVM an expected $42 million.  These buildings will serve as new undergraduate housing, located near the Ira Allen Chapel and Billings Memorial Library, and are expected to reach completion in 2017 as an effort to house attract new students.
