The Burlington Department of Public Works has numerous improvement projects planned throughout the city this summer and fall. The work consists of at least 13 paving projects in addition to the improvements to city parking, water and sewer infrastructure, and a partial makeover of the waterfront area.
Paving will take place on seven streets in the New North End, four in the Old North End, and two in the South End. Sidewalks will also be constructed and improved throughout Burlington as a part of the improvement efforts by the DPW. Additionally, crews plan to focus on the visible aspects of the waterfront improvement, including a new skate park and repairs to the bike path. It should be another busy season of construction for Burlington DPW!
